I love Valentine’s Day! I know that it’s a cheesy commercial holiday–trust me I get it–but I can’t help myself. Blame David. It’s easy to love the idea of celebrating love when you’re well-loved!!! Valentine’s Day isn’t just for the adults though. As a parent, I love to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my kids as well as my spouse. I feel like the holiday is meant for them too because they hold so much of my heart. February is for building one another up in love around here! With that in mind, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Valentine’s Day Printable Activities for kids.
Valentine’s Day is an easy time to draw extra attention to encouraging words and acts of kindness. Since my girls are both aspiring artists I knew they’d be thrilled to find these Valentine’s Day printable activities in our art center. I used these printables, along with a few of our basic art supplies, as an invitation for the kids to create this month. I hope to see lots of encouraging notes, homemade valentine’s and artsy gifts around our house in the next few weeks. You can find all of the links to the activities I included in our art center below.
